That’s right, it’s that time of year again. Session submissions are now being accepted for HDC12. You can submit as many sessions as you wish but we would encourage everyone to simply submit their top sessions to improve the likelihood we pick a session you REALLY want to present.

As we’ve tried to do the past few years, we will continue to look for the most popular development platforms, inspiring design perspectives, and the freshest approaches regardless of the technology being used. What started as primarily a Microsoft development conference nine years ago has made major strides toward becoming a well rounded event for software designers of all backgrounds. What binds attendees of HDC is the unquenchable thirst to create cutting edge experiences with forward thinking design and development execution. Keep that in mind as you form your submission and we’ll have another fantastic show this year!

In the past couple of years we’ve instituted a voting mechanism to choose 50% of our conference sessions. As we moved design content and more technologies into the mix at HDC the voting helped ensure we did so with a level of aggressiveness and direction that matched the community’s appetite. The decision was a great help as we transitioned, and now we are confident we can curate HDC with the guidance we’ve received. This year we’ve decided to do away with the voting and the conference leadership will be choosing the final schedule of content. We’re excited that we will be able to again wholly curate your HDC experience from start to finish.

Please submit your session here by June 1st. We will be analyzing and choosing sessions promptly thereafter and hope to have everything wrapped up by the second week in June.

HDC is officially open for registration for 2012. We’ve had a busy spring and we’re a little behind getting the event up and live, but do not fret because we’ve already started to recruit some killer surprises for this year. Over the next next month or so we’ll be updating rapidly as we get new sponsors on board and details emerge regarding special guests and itinerary for the conference. As many of you know we’ve been very aggressive the past 2 years integrating more technologies and more design into HDC’s content. That trend will continue in 2012 as we strive to cultivate the premiere software design AND development conference in the country.
